      I have a GROHE Avensys and in the past I had problems with the hot water ( it was only warm not hot ) and a workaround was to turn the cold water pressure down by adjusting the isolating valve . Recently I only have cold water .. (if i fully close the cold water isolating valve and turn the shut-off handle in a fully open position there is no water coming at all !! So the the Avensys won't let any hot water in/out ...
      I've took it apart and I discovered that the slider 07 587 is a little bit damaged but I want to know if this would be the main cause , or would I need to replace something else as well ?

      Hello, you need to replace the slider, and also check the non return valves are not jammed/blocked.

    • My Grohe Avensys shower will only run luke warm or cool, will the 07587 slider mend my shower.

      Hello, yes the 07587 slider will cure a faulty Grohe Avensys which runs cool only, if the shower was hot only you would need a 00798 thermostatic element.
