    Mira flow valve assembly. (note new beige colour since late 2017)

    For pre 2005 versions the stop/start button is symetrical (like a rubgy ball) see part 417.84, for post 2005 it is tapered.

    Due to a modification by Mira, if a flow valve or switching assembly is required, the following 3 items would need to be replaced:

      Hello, yes this is the correct part, but you will also need to buy the 1563.509 due to a design change.

      Hello, this sounds like the solenoid coil (416.51) failing, or you can get it as part of the flow valve

    • I have to turn my shower up higher than usual to get the same temperature as before. Is my flow valve broken?

      It is not uncommon to have to turn the shower up in the winter months, with the incoming mains water temperature getting colder and colder the time it takes to heat the water up is longer, so the only way to get the same output temperature is to slow the rate of flow down, the longer the water stays in the heater tank to hotter it gets, I hope this helps to explain the lower flow rate/ having to turn it up higher.

    • I bought this part to repair my Mira Sport and there are bits broken off it in the package, is it faulty?

      The broken bits of black plastic are usually removed by Mira prior to despatch, they are a by product of the sonic weld process and do not affect the function of the part at all

    • Will this fit my 2004 Mira SPORT ?

      Hello, yes this will fit a pre 2006 model, but you will need 1563.509 & 1563.514 as Mira have modified the flow valve, we have all 3 parts in the 'package' options
