Shopping
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website using the Navigation at the top of each page. When you have found a product that you wish to order, select your item from the  list and add it to your shopping basket by clicking the "buy now" button.

Registration
We do not forward any registered details i.e. email address, telephone numbers etc on to any third party or marketing companies, or we do ourselves send out marketing emails or make marketing calls. We only require email addresses and telephone numbers for orders, if in the case we need to contact you regarding your order.

Purchasing & Payment
Once you have completed your shopping list, proceed to the checkout by clicking the "proceed to basket" button at the top right of your page. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order request.

We accept all* major credit & debit cards for payment . *Unfortunatly at this time, we are currently unable to accept American Express as a payment method, but we are aiming to have this facility available in the near future, we apologise for any inconvenience.

Payment is not taken until we have confirmed that the goods on order are in stock, have been allocated to your order and are ready to ship.

Shipping And Handling

We ship all orders to UK Mainland for free, we can ship to other destinations with prior agreement and additional costs, please telephone, before completing your order 0845 126 4141

  
Ensuring your order arrives in perfect condition is very important to us. We aim to despatch all orders same day, with the intent to arrive within the next 1-3 working days, if however for some reason we can not achieve this, we will e-mail you to confirm the expected delivery date.  

While we will do our best to ensure prompt delivery, a parcel will very occasionally be delayed and unfortunately we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, with this in mind, we are happy to deliver your order direct to your home or to another nominated address, ie  workplace,  if more convenient.

All orders include delivery free of charge via Royal Mail First Class service, for orders above £150.00 we will send via ParcelForce 1-2 day service. We can send parcels via Royal Mail Special Delivery, Firstclass Recorded and ParcelForce for a small charge, call 0845 126 4141 or 01452 619 836 for a quotation. overseas customers please call 0845 126 4141

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free. For orders outside the European Union, please contact us before you place your order.

*VAT rate in the United Kingdom changes to 17.5% from 1st of January 2010.

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Showerspares.com have adopted a 128-bit Safer key, which gives a reasonable performance whilst being several orders of magnitude beyond where brute force methods could break the encryption. SSL offers only a 40-bit key in non-US implementations (although 56 bit key implementations are now becoming available). To put things in context, each additional bit of key space takes twice as long to break. So a 41-bit key is twice as strong as a 40-bit key. The 128-bit key used in Extranet is 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 times as strong as the SSL 56-bit key.

Guarantee's & Returns
All of our products come with a manufacturers guarantee, covering manufacturing defects. You should open all boxes carefully and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery. Any damage or deficiency must be notified within 3 days of delivery. Otherwise we regret claims for credit cannot be accepted.

Items ordered by mistake can be returned for exchange for the correct item, but the customer will be liable for any additional postage incurred. If no alternative replacement is required, the return, depending on the item, and its condition when returned, will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. Please contact us first if you are unsure about any part you are ordering.
It is recommended that, for your own protection, you should return any goods to us by recorded delivery so you have proof of delivery. You will have to meet the delivery costs of returning the products.
