Shopping
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website using the Navigation at the top of each page. When you have found a product that you wish to order, select your item from the  list and add it to your shopping basket by clicking the "buy now" button.

Purchasing & Payment
Once you have completed your shopping list, proceed to the checkout by clicking the "proceed to basket" button at the top right of your page. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order request.

We accept all* major credit & debit cards for payment . *Unfortunatly at this time, we are currently unable to accept American Express as a payment method, but we are aiming to have this facility available in the near future, we apologise for any inconvenience.

Payment is not taken until we have confirmed that the goods on order are in stock, have been allocated to your order and are ready to ship.

Shipping And Handling
Ensuring your order arrives in perfect condition is very important to us.

We aim to despatch all orders same day, with the intent to arrive the next working day, if however for some reason we can not achieve this, we will e-mail you to confirm the expected delivery date.  

While we will do our best to ensure prompt delivery, a parcel will very occasionally be delayed and unfortunately we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, with this in mind, we are happy to deliver your order direct to your home or to another nominated address, ie  workplace,  if more convenient.

All orders include delivery free of charge via Royal Mail First Class service, for orders above £150.00 we will send via DHL 1-2 day service. We can send parcels via Royal Mail Special Delivery, Firstclass Recorded and DHL for a small charge, call 0845 126 4141 for a quotation.

Tax Charges
For orders placed from within UK, 17.5% VAT is included in the price.

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Showerspares.com have adopted a 128-bit Safer key, which gives a reasonable performance whilst being several orders of magnitude beyond where brute force methods could break the encryption. SSL offers only a 40-bit key in non-US implementations (although 56 bit key implementations are now becoming available). To put things in context, each additional bit of key space takes twice as long to break. So a 41-bit key is twice as strong as a 40-bit key. The 128-bit key used in Actinic Catalog is 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 times as strong as the SSL 56-bit key.

Guarantee's & Returns
All of our products come with a manufacturers guarantee, this guarantee is for manufacturing defects, faulty items can be returned, providing that they are unused and in the original packaging, items ordered by mistake can be returned for exchange for the correct item, but may depending on the item, and its condition when returned may be subject to a 15% restocking charge.
