    • A simple replacement task provided one has basic DIY skills - turn off water - remove shower from wall/pipes - unscrew old cartridge and replace with new item - refit shower to wall/pipework and turn on water supplies. Only word of warning is that you need a large spanner to remove/refit cartridge . Don't forget to test water temperature settings. Do not try to unscrew old cartridge without removing shower from the pipework as it is tight and you could distort supply pipes/connections.
