• Item arrived quickly in a kind of dusky yellow padded envelope that smelled ever so slightly of the post persons hand cream. I managed to open the envelope easily and found the items inside which were exactly what I had ordered and looked just like the photo. I had previously contacted Geberit UK for advice on which parts were required to fix the leak from the concealed cistern when flushed, and this is the part they suggested. They included a link to buy the part direct from showerspares.com.
  Fitting the part was very straight forward and took a matter of seconds. I pulled out the flush pipe, removed the old, worn out seal by gently squeezing the plastic ring to make it small enough to extract and the seal followed.
  Installation was even swifter. After studying the orientation of the two rings I had just removed, I simply pushed the new ones into place with a satisfying, though barely audible, click.
  Flush pipe slid back in and once pan was successfully reconnected I performed a test flush and was thrilled to see no leakage whatsoever. Piped some silicone around the pan, stopped to drink a not particularly good cup of tea and I was back in the van and away.

• This was a replacement rubber washer/ring/gasket that goes around the flush pipe at the bottom of a Geberit concealed cistern. The original which was 16 years old had unbelievably shrunk and was letting a 1/4 of a cup of water out onto the floor, inside the bathroom unit with each flush. Comparing the original with the new showed a quite extraordinary shrinkage of the original. As I say, quite amazing for what should be a quality product yet caused so much trouble by getting under the ceramic floor tiles with the resulting problems you can imagine.
