    • I have a Hansgrohe mixer bath tap and want to replace the shower and rail coming off the tap. Will any brand of shower hose be compatible or are there different diameters of hose fitting for different brands?

      Hello,
      Almost all hoses use the same thread size (1/2" BSP screw thread).
      Sometimes the bore size of the hose itself differs depending on the shower and the system.
      Also the tapered end of the hose can differ, meaning they are sometimes only compatible with the handset holder from that same range.
      If you are replacing the whole rail kit though, you shouldn't face an issue. You'll need to measure up the fixing centres. More advice in the article here:
