    • Having upgraded an existing shower to a modern pump system serving a later ensuite, I discovered that my vintage Mira 722 would only supply tepid water. Quick bit of research established that a high-pressure thermostat was required, and National Shower Spares had the very item I needed in stock. The order was placed that afternoon and the following day the unit arrived ready for installation. Works perfectly so thanks for great, speedy service!

    • Perfect fast service, thank you.

    • lost a star two flow sleeves and thermostat coil loose in bag rest of service excellent high quality product easy fit working well

      James Hollister

    • I’ve had a Mira 722 for 38 years and have just upgraded my heating system to a pressurised one. The new cartridge, although pricey, is amazing and, as the plumber said, very well engineered.

      Paul Swarbrick

    • I can't really tell about this. Our shower no longer regulated the water temperature, which was why we got a replacement. We discovered that the old one was broken (ages old); plus we had installed a combi-boiler 5 years ago, so that was an additional problem. Our handyman fitted it, following the provided instructions (which were very detailed). Unfortunately, it hasn't resolved the issue. The water comes out at one temperature only. It's OK, but obviously this is not how it's intended to work. I wasn't willing to pay the exorbitant price Mira charge to send out one of their specialists, so it's back to the drawing board.
But there's no problem as far as I can tell with the piece of kit itself, nor with National Shower Spares. The product appeared as described and well wrapped, within a very short time of me placing the order, and there were frequent emails letting me know what stage of the transaction we were at.
