    • Very happy - the part I needed sent out very quickly (despite the lockdown) and good comms to let me know what was happening. Will definitely use again and would recommend to others.

    • It works. I'm not sure there is a middle ground with this type of fitting. Indeed the old one may not have been a problem. There is a chance that the pump is the culprit in this instance. It was job to ease the old valve out of the housing without damaging the shower body. I used silicone grease to help push the new one into position. It needs some effort to push the valve back, which is does with a sudden klick. The recess depth is only a few millimetres. I was unsure initially if it had fully gone home. Great care is needed with the retaining collar. It's very fragile. A pair of grips could crush it very easily in my estimation. Better to use a box spanner for added safety I would say.
