    • Unless required temperature had been adjusted before starting shower, temperature adjustment valve seized up and could not be moved.
      Removing used item was fairly difficult, but using tapered ends of screwdrivers, and chisels, it was eventually eased out of shower body.
      New item's o-rings were lubricated with silicone grease, and it was fitted without problem. It has been installed over a week now, and temperature adjustment is much smoother, as it should be. The original did always, even when new,6 years ago, have a tendency to seize when hot. National Showers service is second to none!

      I see the cartridge comes with the silver knob does this mean the thermostat is already calibrated

      Hello, yes it is calibrated in the factory when made, but your settings at home may be different so may need a slight change.
