• I particularly liked the fact that this is mainly made from brass rather than the all plastic version that was previously in the shower. I've taken these old ones out a few times to de-scale and there is always a little bit of damage caused to the splined area. The brass ones have a good flat on this section so they can be safely installed and removed with a spanner and no danger of damage to the splines. Good price and next day delivery from NSS a further bonus.

• I have now bought two of these cartridges. The temperature on both my shows was fluctuating. It would start hot and then without adjustment, gradually drop to tepid. I'd increase the temperature but all that did was meant next time I got in, I got into a scolding shower, only for the temperature to drop again.
  The replacement of the thermostatic cartridge on each appears to have solved the problem. I am very happy.
