    For the removal of various Ultra/Hudson Reed/Crosswater cartridge brass retaining nuts that have the below two tool specifications.

    Contains 1 x cross T-bar and 2 x tool variations:

    1 x barrel tool - length 108mm, with a 42mm outer diameter and a 32mm inner diameter. (38mm between the square pin centres).

    1 x bar tool - length 155mm, with a 25mm outer diameter and 15mm between the end pin centres.

    *** Please refer to the second image showing the tool designs to confirm this matches the retaining nut you are trying to remove. ***

    • I bought this to remove a thermostatic cartridge ring as this was the closest tool I could find. It wasn’t quite the perfect fit but still got the job done!

    • I bought this as I couldn’t get the large retaining nut off to get the mixer cartridge out. It does work but it is not however the best fit and could be much better.
      The width is not quite wide enough and the 2 teeth that sit into the groves are a fraction too big.
      Again, it works but is far from perfect.

    • Great product - does exactly what it says it does. It covers both the thermostatic cartridge collar removal and the tool to undo the valve caps to clean the filters. Of note - you may need to use penetrating oil first before trying to get the smaller covers off. Mine started to warp the brass on the hole edges it was that stiff!!! All worked well in the end though.

    • I can see that the larger tool is used for the retaining nut for the thermostat cartridge but what is the other tool used for(the smaller one with 2 'screws' in the end) ?

      As the SC50-T20 and SC50-T32 cartridges are used in several valves from different manufacturers, some valves have different retaining nuts, so this part caters for that.
