Would be good if Grohe could offer just the chrome union as an option to purchase, although not NSS’ fault. Very speedy delivery. Will definitely use again.

This S-union from Grohe is a good quality piece, as expected from this brand. However, the part is made of plastic and not metal, so it can scratch more easily during the cleaning process. Care must be taken during installation of this S-union. The part has an expandable part through a thread (to cover the pipe that connects to the tap) that should not be forced beyond the limit of its expansion. If the piece does not cover the entire water pipe when it reaches his limit, then a portion of the tube must be cut so that the tap is installed closer to the wall. Forcing the S-union to cover the entire tube will break the S-union.
