Part was easy to fit and fixed the issue of the tap leaking. Only giving 4 stars due to the price of the part, much more and may as well get a new tap. Hopefully this lasts 10 years as the original one did.

I had a dripping Grohe Lineare 15 year-old basin tap. The NSS help desk confirmed that I had chosen the correct cartridge replacement even though my model wasn't listed. Cartridge arrived promptly. Getting the top off the tap was a nightmare, however. The grub screw holding it faced backwards so not much room to work with the Allen key. It came out easily enough but the tap top still seemed jammed on. I spent a day squirting Limelite through the hole and eventually was able to lever off with a screwdriver. More Limelite on the shroud and that levered off. Then you need a 27mm box spanner and more Limelite to free the cartridge, again levering up. Removed any old seals and debris in the chamber before pressing new cartridge into place. Reassembled and drip had stopped!
Service from NSS was 5* but for the whole experience I would dock a * due to the Grohe instruction sheet which showed exploded diagrams of what seemed their entire range of taps, cartridges and internal flow-regulating inserts which, even for me with an engineering degree, left me scratching my head desperate to see some words of explanation!Roger Nicholls

I have been passed this part number as a replacement for a failed cartridge for a Grohe 'Lineare' tap, part no 46 580. The cartridge is c35mm diameter (I have been told there are two). Is that right, and do you have in stock?
rogerthere are 2 different cartrdige the one quoted which we do not have in stock and not sure of the dimension but if you could forward a picture of the tap to support@showerspares.com they will identify the tap. The other cartridge 46374 is in stock and is 35mm in diameter and shown in link below
