They are slightly different from the worn-out pair they replaced, but they have been in place for a week, and so far the toilet seat has not done any sliding around. The original one relied on some plastic fittings that wore out; this one doesn't have any critical cheap bits of plastic, so I'm hopeful they will last a long time. I am about to order a second set for another toilet seat that also moves around.
