    • One star off because had to fit extra washers and tighten hard onto wall/pipe stubs when replacing a Mira Atom. The big levers which are the distinct feature of the Assist are a welcome change from the usual levers intended to look sleek rather than for good ergonomics. Smart phones have gained big digits for the lock screen time and big buttons for entering the PIN. Nice to see this mixer also aiming to be easy to use

    • Shower mixer has been installed for about a week, so cannot comment on long term results. Immediate reaction is some positive, some not so. Performance is good with strong water flow (certainly stronger than previous Titan mixer) and price was pretty reasonable. The major downside is the way the two control knobs (water flow and temperature) fit onto the mixer. Instead of the more normal screw, this mixer is a "push on" method which engages over a plastic clip. Getting the knows on is easy; getting the temperature know off (which is necessary if you wish to adjust the min and max temp settings) is very difficult and involves a lot of force, even when you have the knob is the designated position. My advice, don't fully push the knob on (leave a few mm gap) whilst you test the temp settings and only fully engage when you have fully completed the temp setting adjustment.

    • This mixer was fitted to reduce the strain my wife was experiencing operating an older Mira one with her hands weakened by carpel tunnel syndrome. Absolutely does the trick. Very pleased so will be fitting another one to the other shower in our home once we can obtain it.
