• The assembly is of excellent quality and although no instructions were included as to how to fit the new unit,removal of the old unit revealed this to be a simple procedure. I would advise purchase of the whole assembly unit: I was of the opinion that it was just the knob that was broken and initially replaced just the knob, only to find that the old valve was not operating correctly.Fortunately, with the whole assembly to hand I was able to replace the valve immediately without having to order and wait for the valve assembly. So, play it safe, order the whole thing.
