    • I require a replacement element assembly for my Galaxy G9000s, but not sure which one, 8.5KW or 9.5KW.
It is a pre 2000 model.

Hello.the heater tanks are stamped on the top plate, with the kw rating.

    • Hi There. i ordered one of these a while back and just got round to fitting it.
There is a slight difference between the old element (4 separate prongs) and the new element (the neutral is paired).
can you send me a wiring diagram for the new version of the element please?
      Thanks
      Ray

Hello, this is something we do not have access to, please call Applied Energy (Galaxy parent co) on 0844 372 7766, they should be able to help.

    • Hi, I have a Galaxy S9000 and the water has stopped getting hot. Do you think it is the heater element? The water ranges from cold to tepid when adjusting the temperature control knob but won't get any hotter than tepid even on the highest setting. The shower is at least 10 years old! Thanks.

Hello, it coud be the element, it could also be the microswitch that supplies power to the elements.

    • galaxy serene deluxe 9.5kw has started to run only cold. it doesn't trip the rcd at the mains board as i thought a faulty element would. do you think this is the heater element or a thermal switch somewhere? or what?
      thank you.

Hi, if the serene is running cold only, it may be the thermal switch (top of the heater tank) or the pressure switch is not activating (check visually)
