      Robert Moore

    • This was a repeat order for some fill valve membranes, are I’d used the last of the 3 I’d previously bought from NSS. Easy to use website, great hyperlinks from searches and easy to order the parts and prompt delivery. Well done on making it so easy!

      Roland Jackson

    • Fast delivery and a perfect fit.
My only criticism would be the cost of posting an incredibly small and extremely light product

      Mal Pulford

    • Exactly what I needed and delivered quickly

      Douglas Bell

    • does the job - water comes out when it should and stops when it shouldn't!

      John Raw

    • Not being a great handy man and confronted a concealed cistern with water constantly running into the pan, I exposed the cistern , found the spec online with instructions for servicing/repairs. Taking the filler valve apart the membrane washer had decayed. Showerspares sent a new one very quickly, I fitted it, and hey presto, problem solved. Thank you Showerspares.

      David Cliffe

    • Really easy to fit as expected with OEM parts . The quality of the parts are excellent and when you consider the number of times that part opened and closed over the last ten years it did well.

      William Turnbull Miller

    • Stopped the leak

      Mr Brown

    Ask a Question

    • We have a Grohe cistern built into a cabinet behind the WC and it has been working perfectly for years - until today when it has started filling very slowly.
I can see the water trickles slowly out by the red pivot for the float lever and takes about 4 minutes to refill the cistern which I think is 6 Litres.
When I unscrew the white cover on the left I get full water flow there, but with that in place and I disconnect the float lever I get a tiny water-pistol like jet from a tiny hole in the plastic. When I take that out I get a good flow of water and the membrane "looks" OK but can you advise if a damaged membrane could restrict the flow or if I should replace the whole fill valve.
      Thanks in advance,
      Iain

      Good morning
there is a possibility that the membrane is damaged. This would be the cheapest option to repair first, then if that is not the case then you would need to replace the complete filling valve.
      Kind regards
