    • The product is securely packaged on card with a vacuum sealed film cover and arrived in good condition. It fitted my Potterton boiler perfectly, and for the short period I have had it in use so far, it has worked perfectly.
      My main reason to buy this particular product was to match exactly the Honeywell manufactured part specified in my boilers service information. I had previously fitted a number of much cheaper after market equivalent service thermocouples. Each of these cheap items had failed in a very short time after fit. All had failed because the part of the thermocouple that sits permanently in the pilot flame had completely burned away. The cheap failed part I have just replaced with this Honeywell item had lasted only 6 months!
      It is obviously too soon to compare the long term durability of the new part, but experience with other heating system components has given me good faith in Honeywell design technology. Time will tell if I was right in this case!
