    • Hi, I have this cartridge and the hot and cold settings are all to cock when I tried to clean it. Does the new one come ready set for use? Do I just pop it in and away you go? Thanks

      Hello, it is ready to fit, you may have to tweak the max temp setting, full instructions in with the new part.

    • I have a Mira excel shower post 2002 and the hot water supply stopped so I pulled the cartridge out and found that the hot water inlet wasn't opening as the plastic that slides the Bakelite plate has snapped. just wondering if that part can be sold separately?

      Hello, very sorry, but Mira do not do spares for the cartridge, just a complete cartridge.

      Hi, you will need to replace the Mira Excel cartridge 451.71, there is no way to recalibrate the cartridge.
