    The Salamander CT Xtra shower pumps are the UK's best-selling range. They are one of the quietest pumps on the market and are great value for money.

    • Pressure rating (8 litres/minute) 1.4 bar.
    • Suitable for positive head installations only. Absolute minimum head 600mm.
    • For gravity fed water systems only.
    • Single impeller for boosting one water supply (either cold, hot, or mixed).
    • Continuously rated induction motor with even better efficiency.
    • Regenerative impeller motor. 273watts
    • Carbon seals.
    • 15mm push-fit flexi connectors.
    • Supplied with AV couplers.
    • Compact size 165mm x 120mm x 195mm (H x W x D).

    The Salamander CT Range does not necessarily need a flange, provided that the pump is installed at the base of the hot water cylinder, the cold-water tank is higher than 1.2m above the cylinder, and the pump is ‘teed’ off the first downward leg from the cylinder.     • Good little pump, but not as quiet as I'd hoped. We put it under the kitchen sink to boost the hot on our gravity fed system. Works great but I reinstalled it under the carcass directly onto the concrete floor (you need min 145mm under the cabinet to do this) to dim the noise a bit.
