    • Hello,
      Following on from this question;
      In the answer to the previous question you mention that you need to change the metal tag on the top depending on whether it's for the hot or the cold. What does this mean? I can't see a metal tag that is adjustable in any way, am I missing something?
      there is a 'w'' circlip on front of the cartridge, remove it and lift off the steel tag washer, the tag rotates in a cut out on the front of the cartridge, you need to move the tag back a 1/4 of a turn, by doing this you reverse the action.
      Just checking does the cartridge on the left do the Cold and the right do the Hot, and which way do they come out of the box, all set to hot or all cold?

      hello, just behind the W clip is a steel tag washer, which travels in the cut out on the face of the brass valve. by moving this washer 90 degrees it reverses the action (open/close/open)
      Please click on the photo on the item page on the website, the photo will enlarge so you can see the washer

    • My flow control initially turns water on to the shower then fails to respond to any further increase in flow despite rotating the control.
      After about 20 seconds the flow reduces and can only be (temporarily) increased by turning the temperature control up.
      The gears and spindle are not worn, so do I need to replace the Trevi 1/2 '' flow cartridges ?

      Hello, if you remove the spindle and cogs, turn the valves carefully with a pair of pliers, do they work?, if they do, and the flow still dimisnishes, you may have a supply/blocked filters problem on the temp cartridge.

    • Hi,
      When my Trevi boost shower is turned off, it still drips water from the shower head. Is is likely to be the flow cartridge that needs replacing or the booster cartridge? When working the power flow and water temperature is fine.
      Thanks

      Hello, definately the flow cartridges, there are tweo in each shower, A952501 , it may also be the gearbox A963067

    • Hello, does this Trevi spare part 952501 do both hot and cold flow?

      Hello, there are two of these 952501 1/2" cartridges in your shower, 1 for hot, one for cold, they are linked together by a gearbox, the cartridges are reversible by adjusting the metal tag on the top.
