    • Full marks to NSS for dispatching promptly - ordered in the afternoon; delivered next morning.
The original solenoid valve had failed so water was flowing even with the shower switched off.
(Solenoid was OK: The attached valve was at fault.)
With water and electricity isolated there are are two push on cable connections, two screws (one hiding behind an earth terminal) and a 15mm compression fitting to be removed before the assembly is eased down and taken out. It is likely the compression olive will be too tight to remove from the plastic spigot so a new compression nut and olive should be to hand - a similar elbow or coupling is probably the easiest way to deal with that. The new unit should have an O'ring in place, so fitting is straightforward and should be watertight first time.
This shower (T300si) should be re-started according to the instructions - available for download if original booklet not to hand. The new assembly worked as expected; problem solved.

      Mr Miller

    • Great service and prompt delivery.

      Mr Williams

    • The part arrived quickly and of course it works, much cheaper than a new shower.

      Mr Hamilton

    • Triton inlet solenoid valve assembly purchased from NSS and all I can say is the transaction went very smoothly as for the price they were cheaper than Triton and the postage was half Triton price.
So all in all I am pleased with my purchase. But I am sure that Triton could have made things simpler for all I was needing was the top hat style filter but unfortunately it is not a separate item and comes as a fitted part of the water inlet solenoid valve.
Mira electric showers from looking at parts list have a water inlet filter that is removable and listed as such and is reasonably priced.

      Mr Roessler

    • Great service and rapid delivery. Overall, very pleased.

    Ask a Question

    • Hi i have a triton topaz t80i which is letting water through the shower head only..will changing the solinoid fix this problem...many thanks

Hello, yes it is the solenoid valve that is not closing off.

    • My Triton Trance works fine for a while then suddenly stops and both lights come on. Nothing else is running in the house so it's not a sudden drop in pressure. If turned off and left, after a while it will operate again for a while then stop again. Has the solenoid valve developed a fault? Any ideas??

Hello, yes the solenoid is failing, eventually it will stop and not come back on, you need to replace the solenoid.

    • I have a triton plasma shower and the low pressure light keeps coming on and off in use causing cold water to come out can you please tell me which part I require?

Hello, you need to check the inlet filter, and the stabilising valve (pressure switch)

    • sometimes when i switch on my triton opel shower it run's cold, then i switch it off/on again it's ok. help it's getting worse.

Hello, sounds like a sticky pressure switch, you will need to replace the stab valve (stabiliser valve)

    • When i turn my opal shower off the water continues to flow it would appear that a shut off valve or washer is not working can you help

Hello, does it stop when you isolated the electricity to the unit?. if it does then the 7072060 pcb is faulty, if it does not, then the solenoid is faulty 83304130
